During the visit of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Azerbaijan, an Agreement was signed between the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the mutual recognition of professional diplomas of crew members of sea vessels, the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.
The agreement was developed in accordance with the requirements of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, the White List of which includes both states.
The signing of the Agreement will ensure recognition by the Azerbaijani side of professional diplomas of seafarers issued by the Maritime Administration of Ports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will allow Kazakh seafarers to work on ships flying the flag of Azerbaijan.
