CMS B.V. and Caspian Geo LLC have agreed on the involvement of PSV Guba and PSV Murovdag vessels for geophysical seismic operations. These vessels will be converted from platform-supply vessels (PSV) to multi-purpose support vessels (MPSV) by installing living modules to accommodate more personnel and special project equipment for geophysical seismic purposes. The modification process will be facilitated by the Baku Shipyard, under and in accordance with relevant requirements.
The classification society (ABS) and the State Maritime and Port Agency regularly supervise the modification works to provide the vessels with the necessary documents in accordance with the developed modification plan.
Caspian Geo LLC, a joint venture between SOCAR and BGP Offshore, located in Baku, Azerbaijan, is a geophysical service provider in the Caspian Sea. The company is providing 2D, 3D and OBN acquisition services to the international oil industry.
