By asco.az The deputy chairmen and heads of structural subdivisions of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) were awarded the commemorative medals “160th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (1858-2018)”.
At the awarding ceremony, the ASCO Chairman Rauf Veliyev spoke about the attention and care given to the development of shipping in the country. He particularly emphasized the attention constantly paid to the development of shipping in Azerbaijan during the presidencies of both the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the country President Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
Rauf Veliyev, who stressed the government’s care of Azerbaijani sailors, recalled that every year the sailors who distinguished themselves in work received various top awards by order of President Ilham Aliyev. Two new medals established with respect to shipping activities on the eve of the 160th anniversary of the Shipping Company is a good example of the attention paid to those who work in this field.
Further, the commemorative medals “160th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (1858-2018)” were presented to the vice-chairmen and heads of the structural divisions of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO).
Zamig Ismailov, director of “Caspian Marine Services Limited” and Samad Allahverdiyev, chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Maritime Transport Workers, were also among those who were awarded medals.
ASCO Chairman Rauf Veliyev congratulated those who were awarded and wished them successes in their future endeavors. Employees, awarded with commemorative medals, expressed their gratitude for appreciation of their work at higher level, and promised to perform their duties successfully.
Note that the anniversary medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan “160th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (1858-2018)” was established by Milli Majlis on the eve of the 160th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company, and approved by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
