BP plans initial exploration well on Shafag-Asiman block

BP said it continues to plan for the first exploration well on the Shafag-Asiman block.

“The interpretation and processing of the 3D data acquired in 2016 from the Shallow Water Absheron Peninsula (SWAP) contract area is being finalized. The interpretation is planned to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2017,” the company said.
