Recently Dr. Patrick Verhoeven, Managing Director of the International Association of the Port of Harbors (IAPH) visited Azerbaijan and Port of Baku as a part of preparations for IAPH Baku 2018 World Ports Conference. In his face-to-face interview with CBC TV he underlined some thoughts on position of Port of Baku in the world trade map and responded to other questions.
In his interview he touched upon important topics like the strategic location of the Port of Baku and its importance for IAPH, IAPH’s role as a global voice of the Ports around the world.
He also informed that Azerbaijan’s grand hub vision and the notion of “connectivity” will be one of the key topics at the IAPH Baku 2018.
