Deputy Chairman of “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC Zaman Novruzov and Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Dursun Hasanov have closely acquainted with the works carried out in the Georgian section of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
Georgia bureau of Report News Agency informs, state officials have reviewed railways in Tsalka district of Georgia, Ninotsminda and Akhalkalaki districts of Javakheti region. They got information about construction and installation as well as latest completion works in Tsalka, Toparavani, Karsaki stations on the Marabda-Akhalkalaki-Karsaki-Turkey border section of the railway line.
Deputy Chairman of the “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC and the ambassador also got closely acquainted with the intensive completion of the 4200-meter tunnel on the Akhalkalaki station complex and the Georgian-Turkish border.
The Georgian section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will be fully operational in September.
