    The international investment forum “Development of investment and transit potential of Mangystau”is a platform which united more than 100delegates,heads of state and private structures, as well as representatives of logistics business from multiple countries, for discussinginfrastructure, transport and logistics potential of Mangystau region in Kazakhstan.

    The main focus of this event wasthe discussion of the development of transport and logistics facilities in the field of sea lanes. In the first part of the day, forum participants had the opportunities to visit the Aktau International Sea Commercial Port, port Kuryk, and take a look atAktau marine northterminal expansion.

    During the forum session which took place later, topicalissues intended to develop transport potential of the Caspian regionwere discussed. Heads of maritime administration of the Caspian Sea acted as a speaker of the forum –AbayTurikpenbayev,president of JSC “NC “Aktau international sea commercialport”, VahidAliyev, Deputy General Director of”The Baku internationalsea tradeport”, MyrzabekSaktaganov,CEO of LLC “Port Kuryk”and others.

     

    Secretary General of International association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” Baurzhan Kulushev also participated to the forum session and pointed an increasing interest in TITR from transport, logistic and shipping companies of Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and the Baltic States, noting that many representatives of these countriesconsider possibility of joining to Association.

    Signing of memorandums and negotiations in the B2B format with representatives of ports wereheld at the end of the forum.
