    Mechanical Engineer

    Main responsibilities:

    Include, but are not limited to the following:

    Performs field inspections and oversees field measurements and data collection;
    Performs package mechanical and electrical systems planned and corrective maintenance;
    Gas Turbine Engine removal and installation;
    Condition monitoring;
    Conducts routine and complex engineering, design, analysis and technical tasks;
    Suggests on spare parts for rotating equipment;
    Supports and emphasizes the importance of safety and environmental programs and ensures compliance;
    Generates and submits timely field service reports;
    Performs technical duties in the area of responsibility;
    Recognizes problems and is proactive in helping to resolve them;
    Problem shooting and rectification;
    Evaluates component condition and repair options and performs risk assessment for maintenance activities;
    Identifies and implements new or existing repair technology in the area of responsibility;
    Performs field repairs of driven equipment, pumps, compressors and generators;
    Contributes to Computerized Maintenance Management System Program (CMMS);
    Provides input on full field development specifications and related process equipment;
    Ensures compliance with all company and governmental safety, environmental and health rules and regulations;
    Any and all other duties as assigned by Field Service Manager, including the possibility of occasional workshop-based activities.
    Education & experience:

    At least 4 years experience in PSCM and sales with hands on experience in procurement and sales activities;
    At least 2 years experience working with ERP systems (SAP Preferable);
    Hands on experience with procurement processes and understanding of the P2P as well as its proper implementation and monitoring;
    Good understanding of the processes and procedures in Oil & Gas industry;
    Good understanding of supplier quality management processes;
    Team player with excellent communication skills, positive attitude and high energy;
    Strong ability to build relationships and networks with multiple functions and at the leadership levels;
    Bachelor or Master degree in relevant education;
    Detailed knowledge of power plant systems and equipment in the area of responsibility;
    Minimum of 3 years experience in turbine equipment onsite maintenance, operations, troubleshooting;
    Experience in a similar industry is strongly preferred;
    Strong knowledge on rotating equipment installation/maintenance; philosophy of Gas Turbines and Centrifugal Compressors, and their auxiliaries (lube oil system, fuel gas system, seal gas system, steam system etc), and SCADA system.

    Turbine Specialist will perform field inspections, condition assessments. Provide run, repair, and replace recommendations for turbine components. Provide technical support to maintenance crews and power plant personnel. Perform vibration analysis and field balancing for large turbine/generators/compressors. Coordinate technical/repair activities with Vendor Repair Shop, engineering authorities and other suppliers. Assist in developing long-range plans and recommendations for turbine inspections, modifications, and upgrades.

    Main responsibilities:

    Identification & diagnosis of control system, power output maximization and all subsequent failures for analysis;
    Provides input on full field development specifications and related process equipment;
    Ensure compliance with all company and governmental safety, environmental and health rules and regulations;
    Any and all other duties as assigned by the Field Service Manager, including the possibility of occasional workshop-based activities.

    Essential criteria & qualifications:
    Detailed knowledge of power plant systems and equipment in the area of responsibility;
    Minimum of 6 years experience in turbine equipment onsite maintenance, operations, troubleshooting, repair of Solar and a high school diploma or equivalent;
    Exposure to PLC control systems (Allen Bradley PLC 5, RS/Logix 5000, Turbotronics);
    Experience in a similar industry is strongly preferred;
    Strong knowledge on rotating equipment installation/maintenance; philosophy of Gas Turbines and Centrifugal Compressors, and their auxiliaries (lube oil system, fuel gas system, seal gas system, steam system etc), and SCADA system.
